Dear Lower School Families,
We hope that the summer season is off to a good start. Although Drapkin Hall seems quite empty without the hum of children and faculty, the quiet moments have given us time to prepare for the start of the 21-22 school year.
In this communique, we are happy to share aspects of our well-planned, carefully implemented curriculum. Our academic programming provides a coherent, consistent and intellectually robust experience for our students.
Here we have provided descriptions of what students will learn and experience at each grade level. We are proud of the work accomplished during the COVID pandemic and are excited for our whole community to return to campus in September 2021. While there will likely be ongoing modifications in response to changing guidelines related to COVID, we remain committed to bringing the ideals described in our mission statement to life in the daily experience of the children we are honored to serve.
We are wishing your families a safe and restorative summer vacation, and we look forward to seeing everyone in September.
Best wishes,
Dwight-Englewood Lower School
